Am I wrong for
adding lots and lots of quotes to make my paper longer? I've already said everything of substance that I need to say. Anyone else have any ideas on how to fluff a paper?

:P

(Only two more pages to go until I get the required eight! w00t!)

1. Hey, if the teacher is lame enough to require a length
Then you have every obligation to cheat to comply to it. This includes lots of quotes.

My favorite technique is to choose long quotes, then block them in smaller font. It actually takes up more room.

2. I, uh, considered that
but I can't figure out how to block quotes.

I am not usually required to use sources on papers. Usually it's just drivel from my own (less than) brilliant mind.

3. Just do this
blah blah blah blah <3>:

After inserting a line, center the quote text and size it a font size smaller.

blah blah blah blah

5. It doesn't seem to look right.
I really don't do this sort of thing very well, especially on a severe lack of sleep. Thanks for attemtping to enlighten me, though. :P

4. how are you citing your sources?
Edited on Tue Dec-05-06 03:01 PM by MrCoffee
footnotes take up more space than endnotes.

on edit: don't forget to annotate your notes. you can cram more BS into an annotated footnote than you ever dreamed possible.

6. Can't.
She wants in-text citations. "I hate hate hate footnotes," she said.

8. I'm about to end it a page short
If she's going to dock me a grade because my perfectly acceptable six and a half page papaer isn't long enough, then fuck it. This is my last semester, and I'm only concerned with passing and getting the hell out of here.
