I'm beginning to develop misogyny toward women my age (college).
Edited on Tue Dec-05-06 12:23 AM by seawolf
Just had a girl unintentionally lead me into thinking we had mutual attraction going on. :( At least it wasn't intentional.

Someone tell me something that'll cheer me up.

Edit: Seriously, I'm sick of all the guessing and the bullshit, and 90% of women overlooking me for some skinny little man-bitch or roid-pumped jackass. And the 10% who DON'T overlook me are just being silly. :(

You really can't let yourself take it personally.
First of all, bitterness isn't charming. But more importantly, women have the right to be attracted to whomever they choose and you need to respect that, even when their choices are unwise (and at your age, most of them will be.) Usually it's the guys who have a bit of growing up to do, but if it's the ladies at your school you can either try to aim a bit older, look for the rare examples of maturity or just wait it out.

5. most people in our age group are shallow, dumb, and boorish
It's not just the women.

Because I could replace every "woman" in your OP with "man".

7. Relax A Little
just be yourself and talk to women

you can't make them like you, they either do or they don't and visa versa

copping a resentment doesn't make you more attractive to them

smile

chat them up

flirt

find places to meet them

ask them out

have fun, life's too short to be reduced to mysogeny

9. Well, some people will come down hard on you
but I feel your pain. I wouldn't say I have any feelings of misogyny though. I love all the ladies, but they just seem to want to be friends. Plus, it's hard (I've found) in school because so many people are all in giant, interconnected groups of friends that you can't make a move on one girl without pissing off 10 other people. That really narrows the field.

Hey, aren't you the one frequently posting threads featuring hot, scantily-clad women with big boobs?

Okay, here's the good news: I think I may have identified the source of your problem with women...

12. Study hard, save your money, get a mail-order bride....
in the meantime two hints:

1) Hit the gym. You don't have to be roid pumped just fit works.
1b) yoga classes are 9/10ths female.

2) Ballroom dance classes. You may need to learn some manners.
2b) Ballroom dance classes are 5/9ths female and they expect you to hold their hands. They think it's cute when you screw up, smile, and keep trying to learn.

Spending time in a room with a lot of women is the key. Eventually one of them will claim even you. Learning valuable social skills is also helpfull.

C) If you actually follow hints 1 and 2 you will not lack companionship in a calender year and you can skip the mail order thing.

13. Oh, it's not just misogyny you're dealing with.
"Man bitch?" With the use of that term, I'd say you've got a heavy dose of homophobia mixed in there as well.

Good luck. But with that attitude, I'm not expecting much for you.
