Just when school finally started winding down and I only had a few things to stress out about
my enrollment appointment rolled around again. The good news: none of my classes are waitlisted this time! The bad news? All of my classes look like work. Still waiting to find out when all this hippie feel-good make-work stuff todays colleges are supposed to be full of comes in. Maybe when I transfer, my sister has a teacher who comes to class barefoot.

On second thought, that's kinda gross. Maybe I'll stick with teachers who wear shoes and make me learn stuff.

PS Somebody on RateMyProfessors says my English teacher for next term really hates Bush. :D

1. My dear LeftyMom..........
I'm so glad to hear that none of your classes are wait-listed!

And, given what I've seen of your intellectual powers, I don't think you'll have any problem doing whatever work they give you...

Your English Prof sounds like a winner too!

Hang in there, baby....it's worth it!

2. Someone on RMP says my Constitutional Law prof for next term is likeable only if you're
"to the left of Ted Kennedy."

We'll see. :D

5. Hang In There It Is Worth It In My Opinion
I admire you for sticking with it

I'm thinking of trying to get a PhD starting next year, I don't know, I'm 45 years old, which isn't old, but it would mean I'd be near or at 50 when I graduated with it. A lot poorer than I am now, and I'd really have to look at the earning potential over a 15 year span and whether that really is worth it.

On the other hand, I want to do it, and that may be more important than any other factor involved.

:hi:

6. Okay, I'll stop bitching about being the oldest person in most of my classes now.
:D

If you want to and you can, go for it!

7. Hey, Wait A Minute!
I am just an application, being accepted, and a lot of money away from going for it!

So much on my plate, but it might be good for me

Maybe I'll quit my job, go full time, get an assistantship, and live a new life.

I could find part time work and could make pretty good money doing that too

I'm not that old!

;-)

9. I can't imagine why.
Politics aside, hearing that creep mangle the language makes my skin crawl.
