Poetry-reading DUers... can you help me out here?
Edited on Fri Dec-01-06 06:25 PM by otherlander
There's a poem I remember hearing years ago. I can't remember where I heard it, but I'm trying to find out who wrote it and how the rest of it goes.

It was about humans and nature. It said something along the lines of "There has never been a man who could plant wheat at the rhythm of the sun."

I searched Google for "plant wheat" "rhythm of the sun", and no matches were found. Then I searched wheat "rhythm of the sun", and the closest thing I found were these Grateful Dead lyrics: http://72.14.205.104/search?q=cache:7ehZJPHU0IAJ:lyrics.rockmagic.net/lyrics/grateful_dead/aoxomoxoa_1969.html+wheat+%22rhythm+of+the+sun%22&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=9&ie=UTF-8
Aoxomoxoa is a great album and all, but it's not what I'm looking for.

So, DU poetry fans, do you have any idea what the poem might be? Thanks in advance! :hi:
