Tomorrow at this time I will start the fire to smoke the meat, takes a few hours to get the coals
ready.

A few hours after that my neighbors show up to watch and drink beer and talk, I hope everyone else has a good time also.

:toast: to good neighbors and friends.

Y'all have a good Thursday and weekend.

Now Thursday we fry the the turkey and several chickens.

3. You do wildhorses, I hope you have a great day and weekend.
The frying of the turkey should be interesting, no one here has ever done it before.

4. To bad you can't smell tha nice sweet smell of pecan wood.
I have lots green and seasoned wood ready to go.

I really don't care for oven baked turkey anymore.

A big turkey can take a long time.

I think the turkey really enjoys the smoke myself.

Nothing like doing a bird on the coals. Been doing mine for years in my Web-ah kettle grill.

6. You are so right meegbear.
I used to use a weber kettle but I have too many things to smoke so I use something bigger.

For small amounts I do use my Weber.
