4. Funny story about my Dad's pic.

It is a photo of a charcoal portrait of my father done by a German artist in about 1970 or so. My father was in the Army Nurse Corps as an RN Surgical Tech. The artist saw the medical caduceus on my Dad's uniform lapel, and for some reason drew it as the German Federal Eagle. When my Dad pointed it out to him, he went back and corrected it, but if you ask me, it still looks like the Bundesadler.

Father-in-Law - Captain, WWII, Army Air Corps
Great Uncle - Colonel, WWII, Marine Corps, Commander at Iwo Jima
