I want your meat loaf recipes
so I can make meatloaf for dinner tonight.

1. Here's one...
nothing remarkable, though:

3 lbs lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 can tomato soup
2 slices of stale bread
garlic
pepper
2 eggs
onion
worchestershire sauce

Crumble the bread and mix all the ingredients together, only using 1/2 can of soup. Pack it into a loaf shape, put it in a pan and into a 350 degree oven for 60-90 minutes. Last 30 minutes, drain off most of the fat and pour the other half of the can of tomato soup over it.

Let it sit for at least 15 minutes before you try to slice it.

3. ok - stuffed meatloaf

package of ground sirloin (a little more than a lb)
1 egg
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tbs. chopped parsley
1 slice bread (moistened w/ water)
.5 tsp. ground sage
salt & pepper

1 pkg stove top stuffing, prepared


mix the first group ingredients together. Spray loaf pan w/ non-stick cooking spray. Put half the beef mixture in the loaf pan. Cover w/ stuffing. Top w/ other half of beef mixture

A couple of slices of uncooked bacon on the top

Put in 350 oven until the beef is pretty much cooked through.
