A Halloween Wedding??
I have been think about this for a long time. You think I should try and bring this up with my man? He does keep hinting at a June wedding, but I think a Halloween wedding would be lots of fun!!!

Sargent Freedom is the one that is wanting june, but this will be my first wedding so I should (and better) call most of the shots.

4. I went to a Hallowe'en wedding once
the bride and groom were Cleopatra and Mark Antony. :D

I went as a 1940's screen siren and my partner (at the time) went as Fagin.

It was a hoot.

There were many cool costumes - and for the people that were either too poor or too uncreative, street clothes were not out of place and still worked well.

Unfortunately, they divorced only a few years later.:-(

9. Actually, it was a good thing
for her, anyway - his drinking got out of control.

It was quite a few years ago, and I don't know what happened to him. I hope he got the help he needed...

10. It's a great idea - you could get Tim Burton to be the wedding planner!
And of course you should call all the shots - you're the bride. All he has to do is go to the bachelor party, and show up for the ceremony reasonably sober. At least, that's all I did - was I wrong?

12. Don't do it unless you don't plan on having kids.
Every Halloween will be your anniversary...
You'll either have to share it with your kids, or miss your kids' fun...

14. But the kids should be, when they are young, be part of the fun.
the wedding would sorta be part of them due to the fact that that one thing help to lead to them.

17. As long as you don't mind giving up your anniversary to be with them...
Mr GoG and I have only one day for us...and that's the anniversary. Sure, it'll change when my youngest gets tired of being around his parents all the time; but since we had our first 19 years ago, it's been this way for a loooooong time. :-)

13. Considering what most bridesmaids dresses look like
Halloween would be a great time for a wedding.
