The International CXT, for those whose penis is so small that not even a hummer is big enough to compensate.

It was plastered with ads for Cokes Vault Energy Drink.

1. OMG!
How decadent and opulent. I can hear the planet screaming at that gas-guzzling, pollution pumping, hyper-expensive piece of CR*P's very existence!!!!

Its like the automobile companies don't even care what their products do to the world.

6. From what I've been reading,

those who buy don't care either. And, increasingly, those folks live in countries whose economies are booming big-time (in short, any country that's not the US)

Conservation is only for those who don't have money.

2. My Neighbor has one inhis driveway
like a big pickup on steroids. It's for his business, but still, WTF?

3. You gotta be shitting me.
That's actually for people to buy and drive in their ordinary lives and not for a company to use to hauls lots of stuff? I'm flabbergasted. I cannot believe it. That dude must have taken steroids a long time to shrink one eyed willy that bad. Oh mercy. It IS pretty bad when a hummer isn't enough.

4. It didn't even haul anything
Edited on Sat Oct-21-06 05:55 PM by JonathanChance
It was just a big rolling billboard.

I can see modifying one of these for wildland firefighing, like they do in Europe with Unimogs, but to use it like this. Ri-fucking-diculous!

5. Exactly. If it does work and helps people get major jobs
finished, I can totally see it, but just to run to the grocery store, nah. I see Humvees at the grocery store over at Food Lion here. It's a small town with lots of poverty. I can almost guarantee that the person who owns them can't really afford them here at least. It's ridiculous.

7. Why not just buy a Peterbilt cab and drive it around
You could at least play at being a trucker in the process.

Sort of like Marie Antoinette playing at being a peasant

8. Don't you need a CDL for those?
I think at least with the CXT, you don't need a CDL.

9. Absurd.
Topheavy, under-tired, wasteful and pointless. It looks like you'd need a ladder to be able to reach the flatbed anyway, so it's not even a practical load hauler. I can't think of a single non-commercial use for that thing that can't be achieved better by virtually any other car or truck on the market. Actually, I can't think of any use at all for it except perhaps as low cost housing for large, agile families.
