Why do people eat at a place called "Jack in the box"?
I am ever conscious of food tampering whenever I eat out. I wouldn't even think of eating at that place. I just couldn't eat there.

3. remember when those people died from jack in the box e.coli?
they are totally fanatical about sanitation and safe preparation. i "trust" their food much more than any other fast food joint.

plus, the sourdough jack is delicious.

Edited on Tue Oct-10-06 02:29 PM by CabalPowered
"We cook the shit out of our burgers."

edit: Remember the ecoli breakout in the lat 80's? Cali I believe. This joke floated for a bit afterwards.

12. "Jack-in-the-Box"! Are they still in business???!!!!!
I grew up in Massachusetts, and I only remember one Jack-in-the-Box. It was open when my age was in single digits, I'm 39 now! I remember where too, it was in Natick, Massachusetts on Rt.9. Even back then Jack-in-the-Box had a bad, and I do mean "baaaaaaaaad", reputation. My family would not eat there, period!!! Needless to say it closed.

I have not seen one since. Even though I have travelled to New York, Maryland, Florida, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, all of the New England states, Washington D.C., and passed through a number of other places, I don't recall ever seeing another one. Just thought they became an extinct species in the evolution of fast food.

I stand corrected.
