This is the strangest flu I've ever had...
It just seems to linger... slight fever... head feels like it's extra heavy due to congested sinuses... I can't take cold medicine. The last time I did that, I got delirious and couldn't type because it didn't interact well with my ongoing medicine.

Maybe that's why this feels different. But, I'm sort of resolved to my condition at the moment. Thank goodness for my laptop or I'd be terribly bored. Maybe there's some cool links on youtube.

1. Try to find some oscillocosium.
It's a homeopathic flu remedy. It seriously works though. They even use it as a natural flu vaccine in Europe.

It has absolutely no side effects either.

4. I buy it at the health food store, but since it's advertised on network tv
You might find it at supermarkets now.

that and lots of water or tea especially
and i dont want this to get locked for medical advice but i also faithfully use oscillo when i feel a fever etc

10. I swear by Source Natural's Wellness & New Chapter's Host Defense
as preventatives.

I worked at a health food store for almost four years and those beat pretty much everything. If I'm sick, I'll just load up on that, sweat the fever, and I recover from it within a day or so.

I was a grocery buyer/manager, but I also know a fair bit about the supplement end.

5. How long has this lasted?
If you've had your fever for more than a few days, you should go get it checked out by your doctor.

6. It comes and goes...
it's sort of like the tide. And i guess it feels weird because I normally take flu medicine.

7. There's definitely something going around
I had a patient who had fluish symptoms on and off for a couple months. Without getting too explicit with any advice (I don't want to get your thread locked--hope this isn't too much), you should probably go see your doc to see if a chest x-ray is in order.

9. I'm experiencing something similar.
Is insomnia part of it? Also, is the congestion rather thick. I've been so nauseated, more than normal, today because of the type of congestion I have. It's like having a rubber band stuck in your throat. You can't swallow, you can't really cough without gagging. Is that too much information?
