I'm going to hedge here a bit...Generally yes, I think pregnant women are sexy!

Of course there are exceptions!

But on the whole......a pregnant woman is carrying a new life, and that is just normally a wonderful thing...

My maternity wardrobe is badass, I put on stilettos or high boots regularly, and generally try to stay fashionable, but I don't think anything can truly hide the bloating and general bad attitude I have while pregnant. :D

Most women are. Some more so than others.

Keep in mind the stages of pregnancy. Me? I'll take second trimester sexy, please. Where they are showing, though not uncomfortable, they are rounding in all the right places, they are for the most part happy, and they eat like a pig.

Being pregnant is the only time women in our society are allowed to be large, and they are comfortable with it because they have an excuse (in their own mind) which gives them the freedom from body image they otherwise would not give themselves.

I'll take happy & round over psychotic & skinny any day.

Not that I had some kind of super-hot model pregnancy, but my skin and hair were nice and my boobs were full and those aren't bad things ever. I think if I could have afforded some of the fancier and more stylish maternity gear, I'd have looked pretty good.

Now postpartum, when I'd lost a ton of weight and my skin hadn't caught up yet and my hair was falling out, that was pretty gross. My boobs still looked great, though.
