Random overheard conversation

Today at Michael's (a craft/floral store) Ulex and I overheard this sentence, spoken by the floral designer to anoother middle-aged lady:

"I don't want you going to the ball with Cinderella's dick!"

:wtf: Cinderella's DICK?! We laughed for twenty minutes straight.

I thought that the "Once More With Hobbits" site I posted about was the weirdest thing I was likely to encounter today. That quote outdid it, though.

Ulex and I just looked at each other, asked if we'd both heard it, and then cracked up laughing. Meanwhile the ladies--neither of whom seemed the sort to have Cinderella's dick lying around the house--had stopped talking.

(And you thought the glass slipper was a tight fit.....)

Something I said about 20 years ago that my pals will never let me forget. Hearing it with no context attached, it sounds like gibberish.

Another one was:

"Did you come alone or did you bring some beer?"
