And, again, the first paragraph is more than enough to give you a good idea of what makes the guy tick. It's so wrong it's not even funny, but I feel you locals are more qualified to deconstruct it than I am. Have at it.
Although 92% of Americans celebrate Christmas, any Christmas commemoration is forbidden in USA public schools. Even mere verbal mention of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ must be replaced with neutral allusions to "festivities". Violations are punished with suspension or expulsion (for students) or firing (for teachers). Jesus' name, any Christian prayer, or even entering the room with a Bible under the arm are forbidden all year long in many other state buildings. They are considered violations of "Church-State separation", a concept which is not in the Constitution but the leftmost faction of the Democratic Party managed to force through Congress in the Clinton era, digging an abyss between popular custom and official rule.

2. Horse-hockey!
We have Christmas celebrations in all the schools that I've seen here in the south. Yes, they treat it more secularly, but that is a reasonable compromise, IMO.

5. What about...
...C-S separation being a misguided product of the Clinton era? I remember the phrase being used way back in Foundin Fathers time, am I correct?

4. Hey, religious scholars:
Back me up here; don't you have to be killed before you get to be a martyr?

6. To be fair, the word martyr/martyrdom wasn't used.
That was my mocking commentary of the fellow's whining.
