6. back when I worked in radio
The music director of the station I was DJing for got a 12" single of Kraftwerk's Tour de France. We thought it was incredible. Then we realised we were playing it at 33 1/3 instead of 45 RPM. Was great at 45, but honestly we liked it better at 33 1/3.

And all the youngsters on the board become confused. It was vinyl, people. Vinyl.

12. When I was a kid in the 70s, the local Black R&B station had Kraftwerk...
in heavy rotation. Always a trip to hear the phrase "...with Iggy Pop and David Bowie" coming over the airwaves

El Baile Aleman by Senor Coconut y Son Conjunto. Kraftwerk covers in merengue style. Instant classic!

16. To be honest, I've not heard Karl's record yet. How is it?
It was very interesting when he worked with Electronic.

17. To be as honest: I don't have it yet.
It is supposed to be far better than Tour de France, more exiting, more like the old "Kraftwerk".
