1. Do you drink coffee?
If so, try switching to tea for awhile, then switch to herb tea.

I kicked caffeine a couple of years ago. I'll still have it sometimes; but I don't need it.

2. Start your day with water.
16 oz of water, followed by 8 oz of water and some vitamins. Keep drinking water throughout the day. It helps you avoid the headaches that can come with caffeine withdrawal.

3. Ephedra/ephedrine.
Roll out of bed, pop one of the 25 mg bad boys, wait 20 minutes, eat (to stave off the jitters). It's been banned in this dosage, but you can probably still find some (think 7-11 or Circle K) or find the 10 mg variety.

Probably not what you were looking for.

4. Green or black teas are good.
Drink lots of water. I've heard before that eating an apple in the morning is suppose to wake you up as much, if not more than a cup of coffee. :shrug:

I mean yerba mate, which is what the Gauchos in Argentina drink instead of coffee.

6. Literally measure your coffee or whatever in a measuring cup.
Mug sizes and take out cups can vary quite a bit. Drink one cup when you normally drink it throughout the day, then cut back gradually until you're drinking only about a quarter of a cup. Tylenol or Ibuprofen for when you finally ditch it for good.
I've got to get off of coffee,too...I'm pretty sensitive to it.
