before any good fundamentalist Christian should buy these.

Are they flame retardant? We certainly don't want the clothes to catch on fire at the next book burning.

Will they keep the kids warm when they are being carried up to meet Jesus in the clouds? That is should the rapture occur during the night time.

dour frown regarding exercise without copius alcohol involved. Drink on, kiddies!

Certainly not approved by the Church of England. You know, the one that combines catholicism with women and (shock horror!) homosexual priests and possibly even bishops.

27. Intolerance And Mockery Of Others' Beliefs Is Always in Poor Taste And
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 10:24 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
shouldn't be condoned.

I know you think you're being funny and lighthearted, and so be it. But I still think threads like this are in extremely poor taste and I have no idea when it became such a horrible thing for parents to teach their children that God loves them or will protect them while they sleep.

Why you have such animosity and the need to mock them merely because you share a different belief system is perplexing.

Yes, these PJ's seem a bit silly to those of us that don't take religion to that extent, but that doesn't mean we should openly mock them for having such faith in what they believe. This woman sounds like a beautiful person who loves the Lord and she's attempting to share that beauty with others that are similar to her. She's not asking or forcing you to believe as deeply in the faith as she, so I don't know why those in this thread feel the need to attack her or her concepts.

Tolerance. It's a beautiful thing that we all should hold dear and respect the core of. Intolerance of others' beliefs should always be condemned.

I say God bless her and her children.

Peace,

OMC

28. I agree
I don't see anything on her site endorsing any kind of hatred or "holier than thou" type attitude. It's silly, but harmless. Kind of like something Ned Flanders would put on his kids to keep them safe. No big deal.

Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 10:58 PM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
that those who are that religious teach intolerance and prejudice (which though sometimes true, is an ignoranntly blanketed statement when applied to all), but by carrying such an attitude those same posters are displaying the epitomy of hypocrisy by directly engaging in intolerance and prejudice.

30. WWJW TO Bed? A smile, hopefully. And not much else.
In any case that's what I wear to bed. Maybe underwear. Usually these days it has been just underwear. Unless camping, when I am fully clothed.

But that is just hideous! Oh well, each to their own taste.
