Gatorade - or the other stuff?
Having been on a diet of Gatorade and, well, saltine crackers for 3.3 weeks now, I now consider myself an expert on the drink.

You see, Gatorade is merely sugar water with salt and potassium and natural flavors to make it taste all fruity.

Gatorade Ice is identical to Gatorade except they don't add the food coloring to make the liquid yellow, red, or orange to correspond with the product flavor (lemon/lime, fruit punch, or orange). They just charge more for it.

Gatorade Frost is identical to Gatorade except they use artificial flavors and wacky food coloring such as blue. And while they are sold in different colors with different names, the flavor is identical: "fake berry"! Oh yeah, Gatorade Frost costs even more too! ;-)

Of course, Gatorade in any form costs a packet and I'm dumb on the competition. Surely Gatorade has competition? Especially if Gatorade is made by Pepsico, then I want some competition! :-)

6. Love Propel - especially the peach when I can get it.
Can't stand the other sports drinks. Too sugary.

3. I'm a Gatorade fan, especially the ICE flavors
Powerade is made by Coca-Cola, but I don't think it tastes as good. (which is hard to admit being from Atlanta and a long time Coke drinker)

I was a coca-cola addict for several year (12 pack a day and more), so Gatorade has been my savior, because I just can't stand plain water.

I try to avoid any of the FIERCE flavors or even some of the FROST flavors because the die turns my poop colors, and that makes me think it must not be too healthy.

Watermelon ICE is my favorite now.

4. Kewl!
I've tried some Frost varieties, but "artificially flavored" turns me off these days. And anything that turns the doo-doo into funky colors probably should be avoided...

I forgot about the new FIERCE line as well...

Coke is from Atlanta? Cool!

I'll definitely try the watermelon flavor soon; I bet it has a mellow, mild, soothing taste to it just like the real fruit has...

7. Powerade
It's less expensive, and I think it taste less strong. Has Na and K, plus the sugars.

8. with all due respect.....
if you're serious you're nuts. The crackers are full of sodium and partially hyrogenated oils (BAD BAD BAD types of fat). And all those drinks you mention are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, otherwise known as corn syrup, otherwsie known as..... POISON! Each of those things in combination leads to arterial restriction>pancreatic exertion>insulation spikes>weight gain. One could not have devised a worse diet unless one was trying to committ slow murder. You might lose some weight simply from the reduced caloric intake. But you're also losing years. TIP: just go gluten free, dairy , high fructose corn syrup free, and partially hydrogenated oil free for SIX WEEKS. (It's fairly easy if you live in a big city with lots of natural food stores) Eat whatever else you want. GUARANTEED ... you'll lose 15 pounds minimum --more if you work out.

9. Well shoot, if you're gluten free, dairy , high fructose corn syrup free,
and partially hydrogenated oil free, WHAT ELSE IS THERE?

A day without CHEESE? Milk? Toast? No sammiches? NO pasta?

That isn't LIVING. That's hell!

It just ain't right I tell ya, just ain't right.

there's still fruits, nuts, vegetables, beans, and other grains like rice and corn; and then there's fish, poultry, and "meat". quite a lot of choices, i'd say.

10. This is the GI upset diet
Thermo has been ill for a few weeks now. I myself was recently on the Gatorade plan. Believe me, food of any description is very out of your mind when you're that sick.
