4. coincidentally, I rented an old Twilight Zone DVD
it had the spisode with Shatner getting obsessed with a novelty machine that foretold the future.

5. He was in quite a few classic twilight zones plus one of my
favorite movies

Judgement a Nuremberg

the roast is pretty good but could never be seen on abc, cbs, abc or faux.

6. They've completely abandoned the original idea of a roast.
Now it's people the roastee has probably never met just taking cheap shots. And it was the big shots who were doing the roasting. The A and B listers. Dean Martin, Milton Berle, Frank Sinatra back in the 60s. Now it's people you've probably never heard of. Betty White rocked. She killed. Everyone else has just kind of sucked. Where's James Spader, Leonard Nemoy, etc? I turned it after Betty White got done.

19. Leonard
was on at the very begining of the roast...Shatner called Leonard, and shat was trying to convince Nimoy to come to the roast, and nimoy kept saying "I respect you to much to make fun of you blah blah blah" after a bit of back and forth, shatner attempts to hang up the phone, by hitting end, and he says "okay, you sissy pointy eared &#*$#*#!" And nimoy says "Bill, I'm still on the phone! YOu @$(*#$#(*$!~~!!!, and I heard that!"

I thought it was hysterical...also, Takei's, Nichols, Thomas, and Dicks I thought were funny...they sorta cut out a lot of Andy Dicks stabs...but the rest was of them were rather lame to be honest...and Farreh was the worst...:( A lot of good zingers though....:)

"Smells like pussy, I think."

14. Rocket Man
"When Elton John heard William Shatner sing Rocket Man he spit George Takei’s dick out of his mouth."

Then there was the taped bit with Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel saying that they tried to be there but that they had been stranded in an airport by Priceline.

20. I saw that one too.
George still had the best comments. You could tell by the way that he spoke he finally felt liberated-he's free to say whatever he wants to and confident because everyone knows who he really is.

I officially adore him.

16. I loved the intro when Jason Alexander
referred to the fact that Shatner was Jewish, then said, "Mel Gibson, take that photon torpedo and stick it up your ass!"

But I wish they had had someone from 3rd Rock on the dais. I loved him as the Big Giant Head.
