Costco rotisserie chicken and peach pie
That's my usual Saturday dinner. Guess which one I eat first?

1. That almost sounds sort-of slightly but not really like
what I'm having for dinner. Fried okra and pecan pie... huzzah for farmers' markets!

3. I just had a Costco chicken last night.
I added a salad, rice and french bread.

It was so good!

4. I usually do the same...
salad, rice, and a nice wine. I dole out little bites to the 5 pairs of begging eyes that stare me down as I'm eating.

5. Kitties?

Yep, I've got two of the lil rascals.

They always torment me till I give them some chicken.
( they know they'll get some, every time)

;-)

6. 4 cats and a dog
As hard as I try not to give them people food, they know they'll always get some Costco chicken. When I walk in the door with it they start following my every move. Even shy little Lucy comes out from under the bed so she's closer to the action. She becomes very feisty when it's time for chicken.

8. LOL- They love Costco chicken! ;-)

I end up hiding it in the cold oven.
It's the only cat-proof place in the house.

I must stick a post-it note on the oven door
to remind myself not to turn it on before
I've removed it from the plastic container!
