Essentially, it was this:

1. All you had to do to be "initiated" was to pound a whole beer without stopping.

2. Then, whenever you were amongst other "Bull Moose Club" members you had to drink with your non- dominant hand.

3. If you were caught drinking with your dominant hand by another member, you had to pound the
rest of your drink, no matter what the size.

4. If you didn't, you were kicked out of the club.
