Amber Alert: Raoul Duke 14 month old female bearded dragon

She's been missing since last night somewhere in my bedroom. I can't find her, but I know she couldn't have gotten out. I never keep my bedroom door open (and in any case, she could have only made an escape to the bathroom). One would think a 16" lizard wouldn't be easy to lose, but apparently it is. Since she hasn't reappeared, I'm just putting out a heatlamp and a bowl of food underneath it. I figure that should lure her out by morning.

1. Well, it worked.

The heatlamp and a bowl of kale lured her out. Apparently, she somehow climbed in behind my nightstand, which is in front of the air conditioning vent. So with the cold air blowing on her, she just went to sleep, but woke up having an extra heat lamp put out. So she's back in her cage now and I even gave her some waxworms. Over 24 hours loose in a house is a fairly big adventure for something that normally lives in a 3'x3'x1.5' cage.

4. They're pretty cool.

Her brother is a major asshole, but she's friendly. Most bearded dragons are very calm & friendly, but my male is the exception. My leopard geckos are all chill as fuck though.

Bearded dragons are from Australia though. Mine are NJ born & raised though. They're pretty much only captive bred these days.
