What comedian or comedic actor/actress do you have a crush on?
Edited on Tue Aug-08-06 07:33 PM by idgiehkt
Mine is Tisha Campbell. She's one of the funniest physical comediennes I've ever seen. The episode of "My Wife and Kids" where she and her husband do the Soul Train line at her kids prom is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and the part where she won prom queen almost killed me...I never cease to be amazed at her talent.

I believe those are the only two I have crushes on. Caroline Rhea is kind of cute, but no crush there really. By far, I get my big crushes on actresses and singers - I saw Ashley Tisdale last night on Leno and got one on her. I like bubbly (though not Jennifer Love Hewitt-type bubbly,) and she's 21, so her age is ok. I won't update my crush list for a bit, but Ashley could definitely go on.

3. Believe it or not, Brad Pitt. When he does comedy
as in "Snatch" or "True Romance". I'm ambivalent when he's in a straight role. But when he's in a comedic role, as in "Thelma and Louise"...he's really hot.

9. Brad Pitt was hilarious in "Snatch."
That is a very funny movie.

Turkish: Well, do you want to do it?
Mickey: That depends.
Turkish: On what?
Mickey: On you buying this caravan. Not the rouge one, the rose.
Turkish: It's not the same caravan.
Mickey: It's not the same fight.
Turkish: It's twice the fucking size of the last one.
Mickey: Turkish, the fight is twice the size. And me ma still needs a caravan. I like to look after me ma. It's a fair deal. Take it.
Turkish: Mickey, you're lucky we aren't worm food after your last performance. Buying a tart's mobile palace is a little fucking rich.

Turkish: I wasn't calling your mum a tart. I just meant...
Mickey: Save your breath for cooling your pies. Hey, look

Mickey: Right. And she's terribly partial to the periwinkle blue. Have I made myself clear, lads?
Turkish: Yeah, that's perfectly clear, Mickey. Just give me one minute to confer with my colleague.

Turkish: Did you understand a single word of what he just said?

25. If you have never seen "Survivors" with Walter Matthau, you must.
I think it is his first movie and it is absolutely hilarious, it's my favorite role of his by far. Jerry Reed also plays a hit man in it. I've seen it about 20 times and I know just about every line. I don't know why it's not gotten more acclaim, but he plays that role so well and his own persona doesn't dominate the character like it does in so many of his films.

it's not well known, but better than anything he's done since, imho.

There is a scene in that movie with Jerry Reed and the actress that plays his wife that is my favorite movie scene of all time, when he tells her what his occupation is.

she's hysterical. I was driving around the other day and they were interviewing a lady on the radio and it sounded just like her and it actually WAS. She is so funny. She was in town for the day doing a show and I just happened to turn the radio on when they were interviewing her at the local station.

I love her routine about pop tarts. Man, comics are hotter than actors any day of the week.

for thirty years (Sudbury, MA).

I spoke with her mother once. Paula was estranged from her family in those years -- the 1980s I believe. I have no idea whether she became reassociated with them after her arrest, etc.

Mike Rowe is the host of a few Discovery Channel shows (most recently, "Dirty Jobs"), and used to work for Channel five in the bay area. He's good looking, and has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard (among other admirable attributes).

edited to add: none of these men are comedians by trade, but are all very, very funny men.
