Poll question: At what time of day do you usually bathe/shower?
Edited on Mon Jul-24-06 09:49 PM by WritingIsMyReligion
During the school year I shower pretty late at night (~10 or 11 PM). Now during the summer I still usually shower at night (sometimes after midnight!), but sometimes I'll get clean at noontime or in the afternoon, if I'm really bored.

1. Other: Morning and night.
My beard grows mighty, mighty fast, and I prefer to shave in the shower.

3. So does that mean you take two showers?
That's cool! I like taking showers--I'd take them all the time if I could. As it is, I typically take at least a 20 min shower, which is really a poor waste of water. My dad always yells at me for it.

4. Whenever I get the chance
If the kid wakes up before I do, I try to get my sister to watch him while I clean up, otherwise I hop in and wash up after he falls alseep.

7. BEFORE I start my day
whenever that may be.

Water wakes me up, so I'd be a terrible insomniac if I bathed/showered before bed.

9. Water puts me to sleep.
The warmer it is, the closer I am to toppling over. It doesn't help that I sometimes (always in the summer!) don't get around to showering until midnight, even 1 AM. I've almost fallen asleep in the shower many times. :D

13. Late evening.
Edited on Mon Jul-24-06 09:59 PM by catbert836
Right before I go to bed and read my book until I fall asleep. This habit developed out of necesity, as during the school year I like to sleep for about 15-30 minutes after my alarm goes off. I'd actually like to sleep for a copule of hours more, but alas, that luxury is not afforded to me.

15. Same here, I like to shower before I go to bed.
I don't know why, it's just that I fall asleep better if I've just taken a shower and I get right into bed.

Taking a shower keeps me up long enough to read my book so THEN I can calm down and fall asleep...

24. Water wakes me up
for about a half an hour at least. Fortunately I've never required all that much sleep, though I tend to panic in the early, eearly morning if I can't fall asleep.

29. If I have to get up really early (before 9am)...
then I will shower at night before I go to bed, in fact I got a shower just before the Daily Show came on. I'm not a morning person, so the less I have to do, the better. When I have no place to be, I'll shower once I roll out of bed in the morning around 11ish

30. Well, my dear WIMR...........
Upon careful reflection, I have discovered that I am a noon-time shower taker!

But I guess my point is that I never take my shower at night!

Because I always wash my hair in the shower, and I will not go to bed with wet hair.....

I don't like to use a hair dryer on my hair.....it makes it look all frizzy......

So, I take it after I work out, or in the morning when I get up.......

Morning - I shower to wake up.
Noon - I shower to clean up after working in the garden or working out.
Night - I bathe to relax.

I love the water. :)

33. Normally, morning but it's been late afternoon this summer.
No point in taking a shower in the morning, if I'm going to jump in the pool or put tanning oil on in the afternoon. So I shower when I get out of the pool.

34. Before I go to bed!
Seriously, a shower doesn't wake me up, it makes me feel even more tired. I dry off and then tumble into bed.

Plus, I'm usually so out of it in the morning that the last thing I want to do is take a shower.

I can just get dressed and go.

36. At the moment in the evenings before going to bed
as I can let my hair dry that way and only have to pull it up in the mornings. Too hot to blow dry it at the moment. In the winter time I shower in the morning.
