Another sign of the Apocalypse: I'm gonna start a picture thread

I know...plagues of locusts, rivers turning to blood, Michael Bolton going on tour, and all the rest of it, but I never contribute to these threads, and everyone else has started a picture thread lately, so I thought it about time I break my silence here and do my bit to slow down the server.

7. Tell you what...in all honesty: you made me smile

You always look so happy in pictures and it seems to be contagious (and would be even if I had gone to sleep yet!). I hope that the happiness we see is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how you're feeling.

As for my...um...shape... (a smiley should go here, really) I've still got some stubborn poundage I want to see gone (and it won't make me too slim, taking me just down to the top end of my fighting weight of years past...I've got more muscle mass than I used to have) but I seem to be doing all right in these jumpsuits, that don't hide a single darned thing. When I get down there maybe I can have a shot at approximating Elvis in 1970, when he was in unreal physical condition, even though I'm seven years older than he was then (just recently turned the same age he was when he died):

August, 1970...I want that waistline back! (it's under here, somewhere)
