7. My point exactly.
it's like spending your whole life without trying Indian food.

8. What's worse is that people feel they have a right to knock it even...
if they haven't tried it.

11. It's the same kind of mentality that clucks its tongue at the person...
passed out on the street without stopping to consider what a great fucking time that person might have been having in the hours before passing out. People have no sense of perspective.

12. Eh.
More like it's the same kind of mentality that your neighbor with a nice little spot of farm land might be a witch.

14. That's right! Just because someone is on PCP does not mean that...
they are about to go on a PCP-induced rampage. People need to stop being so paranoid.

18. Exactly.
It's like people who never take any drugs watch an episode of C.O.P.s and think they know everything there is to know about drugs.

Same goes for people who don't know any black people.

3. 'Cause my mind is too scary to want to explore under narcotics.
Also, I value whatever minimal sanity I possess today, and my family has high rates of addicts--not narcotics, but alcohol, a totally legal, might I note, life-ruiner.

17. It would be best for you to wait a few years anyways
It's noooo fun trying to hide how fucked up you are from your parents (or often in my case, teachers). :7

10. I made the conscious choice not to ruin my life with drugs.
Never used them, never will.

13. fear
i've had several opportunities to step outside of conventional time and space, as it were, but i always decline those opportunities, so i assume the reason to be a deep-seated fear that i can't handle it

i don't object to drugs that help me function better, such as relieve pain or make me work more efficiently, but truly mind-altering experiences i'm not ready for

15. I'm fresh out
Actually, I drank a big steaming cup of a "mind-altering drug" this morning, and smoked some mind-altering tobacco shortly thereafter.

16. Cause I don't trust my brain.
And I'm not saying that to be funny or cool.
I just don't trust what could happen. In fact, I don't know how other people can trust their brains.

19. Smart thinking
If you don't think your mind is up for it, it probably isn't- drugs aren't for everybody. :hi:

20. The stuff wears off
You can only begin to trust your mind if you cut its leash. Then you will know what your mind would do when not kept under control,
