Okay, I'm straight. And the reason, I suspect, that I'm better able to tell which sex is gay or not, depends upon the fact that not only know who looks like me, but I know which girls I think are hotter, and are therefore more likely to be, in my optomist's mindset, straight.

Or, this may in fact be the 21st century, and gay people might not be as scary as they used to be (except some of the people in Pride parades, whom I suspect are scary to MOST people, gay or otherwise, but that's a whole other topic).
