Have you Googled your screen name lately?
Inspired by another thread, I Googled JuniperX. Besides a cute young lady in Seattle, who isn't me btw, I found some very interesting stuff!

At least they captured one of my finer, more eloquent moments!

Damn proud to be a moonbat... I guess...

Kinda sad to think there are people with so few friends and so little to do that they sit alone tracking our comments so they can get a rush. ;)

and a couple of others using the same screen name on other forums, all I've ever hit upon is that some people don't know how to spell cynical. ;-)

Examples:

(I'm not synnical..lol)

Being the synnical person i am, please get me video clips of these 5 tricks,

Perhaps ive grown a little to synnical or maby i am just changing.

Or is it just some synnical, calculated public relations ploy based on the fact

14. Yes and I found Carter's 'Malaise' speech
from July 15th 1979
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/carter/filmmore/ps_crisis.html

<snip>
So, I want to speak to you first tonight about a subject even more serious than energy or inflation. I want to talk to you right now about a fundamental threat to American democracy.

I do not mean our political and civil liberties. They will endure. And I do not refer to the outward strength of America, a nation that is at peace tonight everywhere in the world, with unmatched economic power and military might.

The threat is nearly invisible in ordinary ways. It is a crisis of confidence. It is a crisis that strikes at the very heart and soul and spirit of our national will. We can see this crisis in the growing doubt about the meaning of our own lives and in the loss of a unity of purpose for our Nation.

The erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of America.

The confidence that we have always had as a people is not simply some romantic dream or a proverb in a dusty book that we read just on the Fourth of July. It is the idea which founded our Nation and has guided our development as a people. Confidence in the future has supported everything else -- public institutions and private enterprise, our own families, and the very Constitution of the United States. Confidence has defined our course and has served as a link between generations. We've always believed in something called progress. We've always had a faith that the days of our children would be better than our own.

Our people are losing that faith, not only in government itself but in the ability as citizens to serve as the ultimate rulers and shapers of our democracy. As a people we know our past and we are proud of it. Our progress has been part of the living history of America, even the world. We always believed that we were part of a great movement of humanity itself called democracy, involved in the search for freedom, and that belief has always strengthened us in our purpose. But just as we are losing our confidence in the future, we are also beginning to close the door on our past.

18. It's probably from the alternate text on your star.
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 06:57 PM by ArbustoBuster
The star next to your name has what's called alternate text, which is used by people who are surfing the Web with text-only browsers, as well as by people with vision impairment. When someone copies and pastes your name and your star, what is picked up is "madokie Donating Member" instead of madokie and a picture of a star. The copy-and-paste picks up the alternate text.

Edit: corrected a spelling error

19. Ah, the moonbat page
They tagged me for talking of metaphysics, implying that only leftists believe in the possibility that all phenomenae have not been explained in some way. They would probably be shocked (and will not post this thread) to find out that people who follow a mystical path go the spectrum of political ideas. Offhand, I can think of at least one Republican and two conservatives who I think may be libertarians who have had mystical experiences that go far beyond what I have related. The other reason I laugh is because many DUers here are skeptical, and actually gave me a harder time about my beliefs and experiences.

Interestingly enough, the rest of the posts listed in Google by me were related either to my faith or my hobbies, with one exception for a liberal blog that copied my response to something here.

You don't get it at all, huh? Well, imagine that. I'd say that was shocking, but I guess it takes all kinds and all levels of thought to make us all unique.

54. Ew - that was creepy. Now I need help.
I need a new name fast. Please help me find one. When I registered here I didn't expect dancingAlone to be my screen name. I thought it would be my sign on name. Don't get me wrong. The name has a lot of meaning. Like, I live behind the Orange Curtain (that would be The OC - Orange County, Ca) and believe me there is no one dancing with me politically here in my snobby neighborhood. And there's the "I am Woman Hear Me Roar Don't Need You to Dance No More" when I gave my ex the boot. There are others I won't go into - but the name was fitting - still not one I wanted to use publicly.

So the name was already a little embarrassing, namby-pamby at best, but you guys didn't give me a hard time so I put off changing it. Now I've got to. Can we do that? How do we do that? Where do we do that? Along with my DU journal entries there were suicidal college girls (and boys), myspace girls, singles ads and sappy song lyrics - oh my, I am seriously embarrassed.

Please help me here. Any input would be welcome. My father was a card carrying Bircher if that helps with ideas. Funny how I turned out - anything but. I am a pissed off, pro-choice, bleeding heart liberal - damn it. I need a name that says all that but I am so not clever when it comes to screen names. Please HELP me! (I'm sure my father is rolling over in his grave right now. He he. But my sweet mom is smiling. )

DUmmie Teeniebopper Explodes In Narcissistic "Hate The World" Rant

That is both powerfully amusing and really quite sad. Has this person nothing better to do than tear apart every one of my sentences and rant on and on about how self-centered I apparently am? Plus the comments on my "creepy obsession..."

I'll tell you what's creepy: The need for these people to literally stalk DU and report Every Fucking. Thread. back to this blog.

60. And take that thought one step further
We're being watched. Not just by the idiots who are mere pawns in this.

58. Other than a dozen or more pages of my DU posts there's this
This whacky DUmmy isn't alone in his desire to inflict harm on his political opponents. He actually has some support. Let's take a look:

1. Not offing them
But I'd love to round them all up and abandon them on a deserted, uncharted island where they can't harm anybody but themselves. Imagine how much better off we'd be without them.

Now tell me, how in any way did I advocate inflicting harm on anybody?

61. If they understood things they read, would they be freepers?
The only reference to me at one of those sites was some assholes lamenting a parent like myself being "ripped off" for sending a little money to Andy for his operation, but it got purged when he died. Those fuckers can kiss my ass.

68. Good point
It's so ironic they claim we promote violence when they advocate all forms of war, the death penalty, beatings/death for gays and other such horrors.
