Yes, let Ringo Starr into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If they can let the fucking Sex Pistols in, and they can turn it down, they sure as hell can let Ringo in. He deserves his do.

1. I'll always defend Ringo

He's always being referred to as a "bad" drummer which is absolutely not true. Sure, he may not wail on the drums like a Keith Moon, or John Bonham, but he's a very subtle player who knows precisely what is needed to give a track a great rhythm, something not all technically advanced drummers can do.

Plus, he wrote the song Octopus's Garden, let him in the hall! :)

2. ...and Ringo's drumming, just like John, Paul and George's songs...

...became increasingly more creative as the years and records went by. Think of "Strawberry Fields Forever", "A Day In The Life", "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" and of course "Come Together". Proof positive that you don't have to as you suggest wail on the kit like a Keith Moon, or even a Neal Peart for that matter. Ringo's drumming contributed mightily to the signature sound of the Beatles.

As Paul's Wings song says: "Let 'Em In"!!:toast:
