Happy Canada Day!!!!!
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

And to everyone in the States....Happy America Day!

10. Gotcha!

The Swedish calender had July 3rd.

I'm surprised more people aren't getting Monday off
here in the US for the 4th of July holiday.

5. This time tomorrow
I'll be camping in the interior, drinking some Kokannee or vodka twists. Playing frisbee and bocce.

God I love this time of year!

8. Whenever I hear that song
I realize even more just how embarrassing the American national anthem is. :puke:

"O Canada" is a beautiful, beautiful song. I'd feel pride in my country while singing it, if my country were Canada. (And I often wish it were.)

12. Yay!
I live in Ottawa and me all of my buddies are going to the party tomorrow! Wow! There is nothing like spending Canada day in Ottawa. My fave part of the celebrations is watching the punk rockers kick the shit out of one another on Rideau Street. Smoking dope behind the Chateau Laurier in Major Hill Park. Hot dog vendors everywhere! And of course the fireworks, which I always watch beside the waterfalls beside the French embassy.

I LOVE this holiday!
