I am now a GREAT Aunt....

....my neice just had her little baby girl...born at 11:45AM...Arora Jenea 8lbs. 20in. Perfect they had to do a C-section but new Momma and baby are both doin' fine...I'm GREAT Aunt 'A' :woohoo:



...hope to have some pictures soon too!!

ON EDIT...we had my Dad's funeral on this day last year...so this has made today so much happier than it would have been otherwise. :cry:

...do they know what they're havin' yet? We've known for months now it was gonna be a girl...they named her Aurora but left out the *u* so her name would be a palindrome..Arora....which I thought was quite clever...can't wait to get some pics too...hope all goes well with your sis and her little one!! :hi:

I don't know what they're having. My brother-in-law knows, my sister doesn't (by choice).

I'm told the front-runner for a girl's name is Sophia, which I do actually kind of like. No clue what the preferred boy's name is. They already have 2 other kids, Christina and Alex.

7. It is actually....I've never had the guts to have any children myself...

....and my niece still seems like an infant to me...I fear for their futures knowin' all that I know about the past and present...sigh..but we had funeral services for my Dad last year on this day and this has really made today much easier to deal with. :)
