5. not yet... or so the postman at the laundromat told me recently...

this is for real: I was at the laundromat recently, washing Mr. LD's and my clothes. We were nearly on the spin cycle, when a U.S. postman came in, still in uniform, to wash his clothes. He parked himself right across from me, and even though it was obvious that I was engrossed in my 'Traditional Home' magazine, he still wanted to talk. 'I'm blessed', he said. I just kinda looked at him. That's when he shared that 'Jesus is coming back in 2008'. Well, even though I am a Christian, I did not realize that I was out of the loop on just when to expect Him. Somehow, I missed that memo. I was glad the postman let me in on the secret, but I am still wondering how he knew, and I didn't. I forgot to ask him where He was coming back, and if I have to be at the laundromat when He comes back. Will I miss Him if I'm not at the laundromat? Gee, I guess I should have thought about that question while I still had time to ask it of the postman.....
