The hotel security woman took pictures, and the parking personnel (another company) indicated one of their co-workers had done it. They're supposed to call tomorrow. The hotel employee could not have been nicer and more professional.

5. It could have been a LOT worse.

Friends of mine gave their car to a valet at a hotel in Toledo... and didn't get the car back! Brand new Durango with 2 car seats, the kid's winter coats - gone. The valet company owner was a complete prick about it. The vehicle was recovered 2 weeks later, it had been in a couple accidents, full of half-full gasoline containers and the car seats and coats were gone and burns throughout the interior. It took them 3 months to get the vehicle back - and THEIR insurance had to cover it all.

Very sorry about your nasty dent; at least they seem to be working with you in a resolution.

...Actually, it was my dad's car. I wasn't supposed to even be driving it, but he was out of town, and one of my friends talked me into taking his 1961 Ferrari 250GT California out on the town.
Anyhow, when we picked it up it looked fine.. only there were TONS of miles on it.
