I've listened to and been around a lot. And Chuck Cleaver consistently cranks out some of the most literate, catchy and brilliant songs on a regular basis. Anyone who has listened to "Donald Sutherland," or "Your Amazing Life," can attest to this brilliance.

5. yes, I did a gig with Chuck and Lisa about a month ago

at the Northside Tavern in Cincinnati.

And for the purpose of full disclosure, I am listed in the credits on funeral dress (gail and dave) and we eat dinner at each others homes and are very good friends.

But I STILL believe that Chuck is one of the USA's greatest living songwriters. I would if I never knew him as such a friend.

Gem, after gem, after gem....and he's a great guy with a big heart.

He writes the kind of songs that on the 100th play aren't getting old at all. The kind of songs that define periods of your life. I can't say that about many other people.
