Underrated great movie starting now: The Conversation
Written and directed by Francis Ford Coppolla, Gene Hackman is an industrial surveillance expert in a really tight drama. Being that Coppolla directed this movie between the first two Godfathers it's often overlooked.

Turner Classic Movies starting right now (east coast feed).

8. It's one of the greatest cities, no doubt,
though everybody I know who lives there is trying to leave now. It's quite peculiar.

I think it might be that unusually shitty, rainy winter they just had down there, but I don't know.

You grew up in a nice place though, huh?

We refer to a person's "hotness" by saying "He/She has a lot of Guatamalaness." For example:

"George Clooney ... he's got some serious Guatamalaness in Ocean's 11."

Kudos to the ever-sexy Hank Azaria for that line entering the family lore!

as a very big fan of (older) movies i am hesitant to admit that i havent seen that one
i love 1970s movies and watch them any opportunity i can (well maybe not all of them - i do have a little discretion and a strong aversion to violence)

but i need to watch "the conversation"

most of my favorites are underrated
