4. That is so f**king sad!
It is animal abuse and the previous owners should be punished for it.

6. If only more people helped other people...
Saving the animal is nice, but there are so many more people treated cruelly.

8. The dog just didn't have much of a choice.
She probably became an alcoholic dog.

I have noticed most who are kind to people are kind to animals, and vice versa. There are times where this is not the case, but not for the most part.

12. I don't mean to rip on you personally, HT...
...but that attitude REALLY fucking grates me.

EVERY life saved or helped in any way is a GOOD thing-- I have a non-discrimination policy on life when it comes to improving it.

Now, if we're talking about a hypothetical situation where it's an either/or, then you're right. But in these situations, showing concern for this life is the right thing.

7. That's awful!
And it was annoying to see the newscasters be so perky about it.

9. Well, now the dog is getting help.
And the dog was making progress, maybe that is why they were perky?

But, yes, perky was a tad irritating.

14. Unbelievable
The best dog ever was my Sheltie. My sister used to breed and show Shelties and Aussies. I cannot fathom how someone can do that to another living creature.

15. The sheltie is pretty much my family dog.
They are sweet, friendly dogs. Our family has had many of them over the years.

I think when people are just mean, they start with meanness to animals.

17. Here is a great video of a sheltie playing in snow.
I did a search for sheltie in Youtube, and the chunker came up. This one playing in the snow is neat.
