Is it safe to say that Elvis Presley is dead yet?
I mean, it's only been about 30 years since he was said to have died, yes?

1. Not quite 29 years, actually.
Of course, MIB said he just went back home.

2. Yeah, he died on my parents' anniversary, which is date marks at
least one other momentous occasion, as I learned today.

3. NO...
I saw him the other day performing at the Jacksonville Suns' baseball game during the 7th inning stretch.

4. Nope
I mean, he almost certainly is, physically (then again, anything is possible...maybe he, Jim Morrison, and Andy Kaufman are roommates now), but there's no indication he's about to ever gently fade from collective consciousness and culture. The opposite, in fact.

5. I know where he is.
He is an air traffic controller, working the tower at the Paducah, KY airport. I heard him there with my own ears. The King lives.
