1. Nope...woke up today with a bit of a sore throat
And hoping I can shake it as quickly as I did the last, if not quicker.

And I swear I didn't touch any of the other DUers with throat issues right now... :o

3. I'm drinking grape juice
it usually helps ward off colds and such. But, I really am feeling a little sick. Weird, earlier tonight I felt nauseated for some unknown reason.

12. Hope you feel better soon
migraines suck. I've only had one and luckily I got it under control pretty quickly by using meditation and getting into a very dark room immediately..but they come on suddenly.

Well, I better hit the sack or I won't be in any shape to take on the challenges of they day!

Good night & here's to a healthier tomorrow! :grouphug:

7. I have no idea what your age is...
so go to town. :bounce:

Believe me, the Biaxin brings out the big puke smilie...damn that stuff cluster bombs my mouth with the toxicity of Love Canal. :puke:

To boot - that wretched taste never leaves. Not even with cinammon chewing gum. x( I must eat a lot to prevent the wretched taste, which means I always gain weight on it. :grr:

I hope those in Big Pharma have a special place in hell for them (I'm a Unitarian, and so don't believe in it as such) - but I hope they have to take Biaxin on an EMPTY stomach, and have nothing to drown out the taste - have to take it forever - eternity.

I just enjoyed writing that, tremendously.

8. Oh, that sounds awful!
I'm glad I don't have to take anything that horrible! I do take a little green pill (won't even try to spell it) for acid reflux, though, which tastes pretty rancid. Sometimes it gets caught in my throat, and well..never mind. I'm not making either of us feel any better! ;-)

9. This will!
To our health! (or even lack of it) :toast:

This is a special brew, concocted by Traditional Chinese Doctors -whereby you don't need to take the little green pill anymore, and I won't have to take Biaxin. :toast:

Gulp away!!

5. Had it last week. I drank the hell out of tea, mixed with honey and....
...lemon. It moved the infection out of my throat, into my sinuses. At least it got it out of my throat, though.

13. Ginger tea is excellent
I bet that's not the tea you're referring to, however. ;-)

Fresh peeled gingeroot slices, simmer them in some water (a medium pot), then gradually let about half of it evaporate.

Ginger root tea at the end of it all...healthy, warming, antioxidant protection against flus and inflammation...put some honey for flavouring, and a dash of cayenne if you want an extra boost.

It really helps! :hi:
