I go to call said friend and I think the phone number looks a little strange. Two rings later...OH SHIT!! And I hang up hurriedly. I hope it didn't show up on her caller ID or she'll think I'm trying to talk to her. Fuck. x( :banghead:

What I think happened with AIM was that I deleted her when she was off-line so there was this extra slot in my Buddy list that needed to be filled up and when she got back on-line there it was. This time I deleted her when she was on-line so it knew exactly where to delete her from so it looks like it'll be permanent...I hope, anyway. x(

Okay, let's reframe the issue: First of all, have fun with the knowledge that if you are on her caller ID, she's probably more freaked out about it than you are. Second, if she calls you on it, just say that you were calling to ask her if she left a certain pair of earrings behind, but in mid-ring you suddenly remembered who they belonged to and you didn't feel like talking to her in the first place, so you hung up.
