5. Whew! Lots of loose ends left hanging too.
What was that weird exchange with the kid on the submarine witnessing Jack shoot Christopher Henderson? They made a point of focusing on his reaction. Then, later after a commercial break, the split screen had a shot of Henderson's dead face. That usually means the story thread is going to come up in that next segment but nothing ever did.

Where's Wayne Palmer?

What about Graham (aka Dr. Romano) and his buddies?

Why didn't we get the satisfaction of watching Jack or Chloe really beat the shit out of Miles?

What *did* happen to Kim Bauer? Why no resolution there?

Will Aaron and Martha hook up? What about Karen and Bill?

Who the EFF was Cloe's ex-husband and why did they drag him out of thin air?

What happened to Curtis?

9. Where was Miles?
Already winging it to the White House? I really wanted to see him get slapped around.

And did anyone ever free the bank manager's wife? One of the last split screens should have been her desperately trying to free herself. :)

18. And, what happened to Audrey's dad?
I also wondered about Wayne Palmer, and what about that kid on the sub, who saw Jack whack Henderson? Will he be an issue next season?

Also, for all of Chloe's hard work, I figured she'd at least get some 'love' from Jack, but he's now otherwise occupied.:P

Great show, great season, can't wait til Jack's back!

30. Audrey's father survived.
It was mentioned a few 'hours' ago in 24 time. He is in serious condition but is expected to survive.
I love this show!

19. I think that Christopher Henderson was "shot"
by Jack per their agreement to let him get away. The navel engineer was the witness, which I'm not sure that was part of the plan, unless it was a last minute opportunity. If not, was Henderson's body brought back to CTU? We don't know.

6. That part where Jack was shot in the head and died was gripping
I've never felt for a character before, it was absolutely surprising. I wonder who is the mystery guy taking over?

or was there a strange look on Audrey's face? She looked like she had a smirk on and at that point I thought she set Jack up...At first I thought it was the bluetooth gang that got to Jack but bringing the Chinese back was a great tie in to Season four.

I agree the square with Robocop was strange...as though he wasn't dead. It would not be in Jack's character not to kill him though especially after he killed Pres. Palmer, Tony and Michelle. I also thought the final confrontation was anti-climatic...I expected something more dramatic (haha or better yet something like season three where he told Nina "You have no more useful information" before he shot her)...

Lookin' forward to January. It's going to be a long wait.

10. question
Did Jack kill the helicopter pilot and a couple of SS agents as he kidnapped Logan? He did shoot them. To kill?

Yeah, there were some loose ends. He will be in trouble for killing the guy on the sub deck.

couldn't remember his name. Henderson? He told the head of CTU that Henderson fired on him. But the sailor witnessed the event, apparently.

Just zapped them with Chloe's magic stun-gun, which apparently quietly puts people to sleep.

14. Best season ever!
Seriously, this is how they should have done every season -- barely any Kim around, some new characters to mix it up, a hell of a villain in both President Logan and Christopher Henderson, unknown/as yet unexplored characters like "Mr. Bluetooth," opening twists like Palmer's and Michelle's assassinations and killing off characters left and right, and, of course, Jack's new dilemma.

It's the most pure season in terms of action and scope and also had some nice character development.

It was the best season ever! And seeing the "president" taken down is, I hope, a case where life imitates art.

21. I think next season will be a week or two later.
Usually they space the seasons out by a year or two but I think this time the next season will be very soon after. That's why there were so many loose ends. Besides, if they keep spacing things out by two years or more, Jack is going to be seventy by the time Kiefer Sutherland's contract is up.

I think Christopher Henderson is not dead. The kid witnessing his death will be used to prove to Graham and Co. that the only person out there who knows who they are is Charles Logan. Then Graham and Co. will quickly dispatch Logan and think their tracks have been covered. But Henderson will come out of hiding and foil their next plot.

22. Why would Henderson come out and foil their plot?
He's been nothing but an ally to them, when he hasn't been loyal solely to himself

25. Because Jack made a point several times of mentioning that
despite everything Henderson is a patriot. Couple with the fact that they made a point of showing the kid witness him getting shot, then showing a second split screen of Henderson, which leads me to believe he's NOT dead. I guess it's possible that he'll come back and be working with Graham but we'll see. He's definitely at an advantage with everyone thinking he's dead. And if Logan gets murdered he appears to be the only one that knows about Graham and Co. So they could get very comfortable in thinking they are safe with Logan gone, Jack shipped off to China and Henderson dead. Just a theory of course.

27. But he knew that they wanted to kill him and his only insurance
was that recording, so he already isn't buying into their shit anymore. He knows that they are more concerned about covering their own asses than the good of the country.

31. Who was the man sitting in the front row
as the casket was being brought out for the Pres's speech?
Did anyone else think he looked like the actor who played Palmer? I know Palmer is dead and I don't think there is any doubt about that but I'm wondering if the producers of the show didn't disguise the actor, Dennis Haysbert, to get him on screen one more time as a farewell. ....or maybe I'm hallucinating?

He looked like he could be related, which would've made sense. I still want to know where the hell Wayne is.

34. Bill was put in charge of getting him somewhere safe.
But where that safe place was is a mystery. I was really hoping that Wayne would play a part in bringing down Logan because Logan was responsible for his brother's death. That would've been some sweet justice. It also doesn't hurt that Wayne is a hottie and I would enjoy watching him kick some ass! ;)
