Anybody hear anything on "Over the Hedge" yet?

We're debating whether to go with our daughter (3 1/4 years old) for her first movie...

we liked it. Our daughter (who just turned 4) loved it :)

It was cute.

of course, she calls "Shrek 2" Old Shrek because she saw it first.

Hope that helps. I'm planning on taking my 3 1/2 year old, but he has been to three movies already - Madagascar, Curious George, and The Wild. He loved them all, though he did leave Madagascar early.

5. I saw it last night

It's really, really cute.

Not as many "the adults will get it but the kids won't" jokes as Shrek, but still very worth the time and money.

Hammie the Squirrel is absolutely adorable...and very funny.

8. It's getting overall good reviews

73% on RottenTomatoes.com. That's pretty good. Compare that to the Da Vinci Code, which is at 18%, on which I'll pass.

10. It was a good movie

My daughter liked it, and was pretty well behaved for her first time in a movie theater.

The actors who did the voices were all pretty good.
