So ask me something you want solved, not something silly or difficult, nut seriously.

In fact, just think of something you want, preferably spiritual, and ask for it.

I'm guessing that you are between shy and the middle ground.

1) Calm down, and when you are normal, write out some things about your personality, just neutral things, DO NOT THINK OF HIM AT ALL AS YOU WRITE. If you do, stop and start later.


2) Think of how someone with those type of traits, just a general person with those traits, would approach the situation (never talking is not an option, this person is determined to do it, without bieng any more or less determined than you in most things, is really determined in this case). This ensures consistency with how you really are and how you present yourself.

3) Do what the person would do!

BTW, I may be clever, but I cannot do more than give advice. If you feel that any of the above is incorrect, disregard.

Given the Intentional Fallacy, why are people so obsessed with Shakespeare's life instead of focusing on his work and his work alone?

8. Because the human mind does not work in terms of defined

groups like "literary criticism" and "literary biography".
Also, there is the assumption that the work of a great author is such that what the author intends to be put in, is put in, therefore if you knew what he wanted to put something in, which you have garnered from his life, an absence of this lets you know that either your interpretation of his life or his works is wrong.

Does it really matter if she represented a woman in Shakespeare's life, or if she was purely invented? Does it change the Sonnets either way?

Also, with personality theory, that is why biographical info is more useful than other plays in determining if something is out-of-character. (How you are behaving changes but the personality is the same)

And people are naturally curious. (That was the initial impetus)

and want to know about his life. I do as well. I just think that interpretation of a work is up to the individual instead of only author intention. Looking only at author intention implies that all other interpretation is wrong.

In other words, it is a byproduct of people's inability to understand how the author could write something so complex.

It is also about people not understanding that the Sonnets may mean one thing to you, and something completely different to me. If you'd been scorned by love at some point in your life, you may see the Dark Lady as an evil woman, a representation of the one who hurt you. If I'd been scorned by love, I may see the Dark Lady as a strong woman who doesn't let men run her life, and in fact uses them as a means to her own end. Neither one of us would be incorrect.

The one with the monkeys and the typewriters refers to that if you have some system that creates a permutation in a given and finite time, then an infinite amount of time will produce all permutations.

ie, 100 monkeys one typewriters will eventually create the complete works of Shakespeare.

Simple. In classical mechanics, persons observed things to be simultaneous from an absolute reference, that is there were simultaneous events and that was that.

With Einstein removing the aether, there was no such reference point so now different observers could see the same two events, one concluding that they were simultaneous, one that they were not, and they would be equally valid.

Have I got the right simultaniety?
