Anyone here get their nails done? Acrylic or Fiberglass? Question for you.
My nails are getting waaaay too long, and I can't afford to go get them done. So, how can I get them off, painlessly? Note, they are fiberglass and mostly polished super glue. Any suggestions? Thanks
Duckie

1. it's gonna be painful regardless, but soak them in hot water
and then yank 'em off

3. Acetone won't help dissolve the superglue?
Damn....I guess I'll just have to wait it out until I can afford to get them done....Damn.

2. Soak them in acetone?
That's how I used to get acrylics off, but I've never had fiberglass nails.

Good luck.

5. can't you just cut them down, let you natural nails grow out and keep
cutting the fake ones and repeat the process until the fake ones are gone?

I can type again. Work was getting really annoying not being able to type very fast. I soaked fingers in acetone and clipped away until it was gone. It took an hour and 15 minutes, but it all worked out.
