I love this about spring....
When it finally gets warm enough to leave the doors and windows open at night, and the house cools down as the outdoors cools down, with a gentle breeze, and some wind chimes blowing... I love that. Jeans and hoodie weather. Perfect. :)

1. Well...it is 95 here today. I've got the a/c on, but I know what you mean.
What you call spring is late winter for us. ;)

12. Oh yeah! That was an ice day in the sticks, but not here in town.
Most of the time I don't mind you speeding on your way over here. ;)

14. Since we're nicely hijacking this thread...
...I must have pulled over 100 castors this morning. I left 4 standing. I think I'll have more to pull soon. x(

15. In reference to said hijacking...
...in your experience here, does anyone pay any attention to the hijackings? I didn't get involved in my DU threadjacking career until you introduced me...

That's a lot of pulling...*sigh* And I picked up as many seeds as I could find!

We were the evil triad of hijackers until DS1 was brought aboard. Now we're the fearsome foursome. ;)

7. Hahahahaha! Cool down?
Well, yeah, a little. When it's clear, it'll get down to 65 or so.

In the dead of summer it will be over 95 at 10pm. x(

2. Jeans and hoodie sums me up just right, too
Totally practical, and three temperature control options

regular
sleeves up
hood down
other combination of such

And dammit, I'm not gonna stop wearing my black hoodie and jeans just because little teenager gangsta wannabes have decided to make it 'their look' - I've been wearing this since before they were born

/old grouch

9. LOL, yup!
My favorite kind of days are the ones where jeans, tank top and hoodie is the perfect outfit. And I agree about keeping this look, because dammit, it's mine!! :hi:

4. Spring is my favorite season, too......
As the days get warmer, oh so slowly....and the sun's angle gets higher and higher.......

The gentle breeze comes in my door, and cools me down....

I love it!

Thanks for reminding me just how much I love it.....

17. Yes, I was just saying to my husband last night we need to vacuum
the windowsills inside and out so we can open the windows at night. I love sleeping with the cool night air coming in and we still have the down comforter on the bed; it reminds me of sleeping outside.
