Are you ready for pics of neweuropes new place? (pic heavy)
I took the pics last weekend when she was so kind to invite me to her new place. All the painting and drawing you see in these pics were done by herself

Great work neweurope!!! I was very impressed

in her kitchen

in her bedroom - wouldn't you love to wake up to this color and go to sleep under this sky?

the color didn't come out right in this picture. See the pics above for reference

Her dress room

19. Mine where white for 20 years, and I got sick of it.
I just HAD to have some colour with the new place. The living room I've called the flaming inferno *g* - got ready after MissHoneychurch left.

7. She asked me to do it for her
otherwise I wouldn't have dared to post them without her permission.

Every room in her new apt she paints differently and then with those little details. One just has to fall in love with that.

16. Woah, COOL!
I've always wanted to do sponge painting like that, especially on the ceilings. Fall asleep (or whatever...) under the stars, yeah!

But won't the birds eat the dragonflies?

when she came to take the pictures she brought the mostest bestest home-baked carrot cake to boot!

21. The kitchen is finished - the rest is a work in progress.
The bedroom will have golden stars on the walls. The "dressing room" as MissHoneychurch kindly put it -the attic - looked so terrible that I bought 30 sarees and pinned them to the roofbeams. I've got a number of inexpensive rug carpets and some furs for the floor, but everything is still a big mess.

There's still dust and dirt everywhere - but MissHoneychurch sat among it all and sliced up her home baked cake as if this were normal surroundings for a Sunday coffee hour :)

25. There was a tomb stone removed from the "barn" ...
(door bell ringing as I'm painting at night, all alone... guy asking "Excuse me, I'd like to get the tomb stone of my uncle" I thought I were about to loose it) - let me move in first, finish living room, hallway and dining room and clean up... Then I'll take care of the barn ;)

27. Yes, I'll never forget it *g*
As it turns out everything was pretty harmless but for two days I was wondering and wondering - had a thread here, too. You know, there IS a ghost at the old water works we will move too;) As it turns out a family used to live there who has a habit of recycling each other's old tomb stones, that was all in this case*g*. There still is a ghost there, though.

29. Well, it's an old water works.
A long stretched building and our house attached to it. There's groaning at night. Lights in the water works go on and nobody's there. A strange humming, only at night. Windows open that you KNOW you have closed. I'm a brave woman but the few times I've slept there (to spare time, still painting and stuff) sometimes had my hair on end. OF COURSE my SO has a natural explanation for everything ;) I SAY it's a GHOST. I'm convinced of it.
