I need a hug.

My best friend and I got in a huge, screaming argument on Friday. His brother talked to him over the weekend.

Now, he's ashamed of what he did, and won't even talk to me.

I love him, and I want to say I'm sorry for yelling back, but I can't get the courage up...

3. Sure you can, MMR

I know it's hard, but someone has to make the first move here in patching things up. You both feel bad, which is in a way good, because you will be able to move beyond it.

Can you call him to get the conversation going? Would that be easier? Or write a short note, letting him know you're sorry you yelled at him (and sorry you two got into a fight, because he's your best friend, and you don't like fighting with him)? It's hard to take the first step, but it seems like it's worth it.

4. Here's one

Don't think we've ever been in on same threads or anything, so hope a hug from a relative stranger is OK.

Hope it helps you find the courage to talk, but I gots a feeling you can do it on yr own.

What the hell, here's another...

6. Apologies are hard but worth it

It takes a pretty big person to say "I'm sorry." I know that you are that kind of person. You can do this.

7. Awww, that really sucks
You can do it, though. It's your best friend, after all. It's worth the effort to say you're sorry too. Good luck.

12. Here ya go

Now, just go talk to him. It's much easier once you actually start moving your lips :). Seriously.

14. Bite the bullet and call him or SMS him.
That's what a gracious, mature person would do, so I know you can do it, gf.  :grouphug:
