Anyone know why there are no Beatles songs available at the itunes store?
Does it have to do with that apple vs apple lawsuit?

6. Why the hell did they pick that name in the first place?
I believe the Beatles had it first. Well at least before the computer company did.

What the Beatles' production company is pretty much saying is, no one but us can call their company Apple.

10. Yeah, probably that as well as royalty issues.
You can't get Beatles CDs from BMG or Columbia House, either, or that matter, from Napster or Rhapsody.

Not necessarily true. You can download some, but for only $18.00 you get unlimited access.

Sound like a commercial, don't I?

Someone asked about the origin of Apple Computer's name. It's actually linked to Sir Isaac Newton.
Here's the original logo:

27. Misconceptions about Michael Jackson
He owns the publishing rights. That has nothing to do with the albums as they were recorded. He would make only a small amount of any revenue online licemsing would produce.

This article explains the MJ Beatles thing and what it means and how it came about.
