Rule Breaking Kitty Thread
Sorry no cute kitty picture with this because I don't have a digital camera yet, but I have an update on the two stray cats that moved into my barn. Their names are Cole and Cally.

Cally was indeed pregnant and she gave birth to five kittens yesterday. They all seem to be pretty healthy and the Momma doesn't seem to mind me sitting near the box I made for her, and sure enough that is where she had them. There's one pure black, one reddish-orange with white, and three calicos dark with reddish-orange spots.

The mother is reddish-orange with black and white spots, and the dad is black and white.

He is still hanging around too and I have now managed to tame both of them. I'm hoping to get her spayed soon too. I'm going to talk to our dog's vet about her.

I haven't tried to pick them up yet because I don't want her moving them. When they are about six weeks I am either going to find a no kill shelter in our area to take the kittens or ask my cousin who owns quite a nice sized farm whether he would like to adopt the babies. I think he likes cats for mice patrol in his barns and they'd have plenty to eat and be well taken care of. Their vet even makes house calls.

So there is my update. I will keep you posted and hopefully take and scan some pictures soon.
