11. It's easy to feel ignored.

So many of us post so many threads that vanish quickly into the ether. I find it's easy to feel ignored. But I've never felt that a large percentage of the people here were pissed off at me. In fact, I find DU rather warm and quite tender (for an online forum). Nearly every day there's a thread in which a wounded or vulnerable member asks for and receives incredible love and support here in the lounge.
