What time zone is Detroit in?

detroit is in the eastern time zone

jeez louise, they say that over the intercom about 90 times an hour at DTW, in fact, they then say the same thing in japanese a good bit of the time

i mean we don't repeatedly announce over and over, new orleans is in the central time zone, and then say it again skaty-eight more times in french...

4. Detroit switched to EST a long time ago

They wanted to be in the same time zone as NYC, as if that really mattered anymore. Doesn't make any sense. They should be in Central Time.

i couldn't figure out wtf they were so damn proud of being in the eastern time zone they have to keep making a big ol announcement every five freakin minutes
